Temporary Traffic Control Devices
Roadside delineators are widely used to supplant pavement markings. They are a form of "traffic control device" as defined by the MUTCD.

Sign Sheeting Material
Sign sheeting materials evaluation has been managed through AASHTO's NTPEP since 1994. Prior to that time, the successful Regional Testing Facility operated by the SASHTO (southeastern states) administered the program.
